Day 1 - Baia / Cuma 

Arrival of the participants, meeting with the cultural operator and beginning of the activities of guided tours on the field. We will start with Baia: the sunken city and the Aragonese Castle. The ancient city of the Roman otium and the discovery of the collections kept in the Aragonese castle, now the seat of the museum and archaeological remains, today below sea level due to bradyseism. The guided tour continues with the boat ride from the transparent bottom that allows passengers to observe the villas, mosaics and artifacts submerged below sea level. Lunch in the restaurant in the area and continue in the afternoon for the guided tour of Cuma: among sibyls, deities and poets. Visit the acropolis of Cuma, the oldest colony in Magna Graecia. The great Virgil will accompany us with his verses to discover the cave of the Sibyl, the temple of Apollo and the temple of Jupiter, on the top of the acropolis. The ascent to the acropolis also offers a panoramic nature trail. Continuation by hotel, accommodation in the rooms, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - Pozzuoli/ The lakes
Breakfast at the hotel departure for the guided tour through the most suggestive places of ancient Puteoli. One of the largest amphitheaters in the Roman world, with the underground in perfect condition, which allow us to understand the operation of the shows that took place there. Lunch in the restaurant and continue in the afternoon for a guided tour of the way of the lakes: Lago d'Averno, Lago d'Averno, Lago Fusaro, Lago Lucrino. An easy and pleasant walk to discover the landscape of Phlegraean fields. Lucrino lake, from the Latin lucrum, that is, the profit, the fortune that the fisherman Sergio Orata got from the oyster cultivation. It was in Roman times that the lake became famous, first as a military port (Portus Julius) and later as a commercial port. Averno lake, the lake that occupies the crater of a volcano that was formed about 4000 years ago during the last of the volcanic phases that characterize the formation of Phlegraean fields, the hell for the ancients. Continue to the Fusaro lake with the Casina Vanvitelliana, a royal site of the Bourbon era. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day  3 - Naples
Breakfast at the hotel, luggage boarding and departure for Naples, guided tour of the ancient center of Naples, the ancient Neapolis, from the myth of the mermaid Partenope to decumani and Nero. Lunch at a typical Neapolitan pizzeria to taste Queen Margherita. Free time available and departure for the return in the afternoon.
