Day 1 - Historical Naples
Arrival in Naples in the morning and visit the ancient city: the Monumental Complex of Santa Chiara with the majolica cloister, Spaccanapoli and the Sansevero Chapel with the Veiled Christ, the Cathedral and the miracle of San Gennaro. A must-see stop at San Gregorio Armeno, the famous street of the crib artisans with the beautiful Christmas markets. Tasting lunch of the traditional ragout. In the afternoon continue the visit to discover the Bourbon Naples, with the Plebiscito Square, the San Carlo Theatre, discovering its treasures in the halls of the oldest theater in Europe, the Galleria Umberto I. The Royal Palace with the surprising court theater, the representative rooms and the Palatine Chapel. Hotel accommodation, dinner in an elegant restaurant in the rooms of the theater of the belle epoque with typical Neapolitan menu.
Day 2. Unusual Naples from the subway of art from the Sanità district to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (Mann), the wonders of archaeology.
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and departure for the guided walk through the art stations: the subway offers a wonderful journey through the contemporary art. You will be amazed by the beauty of the station of Toledo and the colors of the installations of the station University and that of Materdei. Day 3. Panoramic Naples between Posillipo and the Vomero district.
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and departure for a panoramic tour from the seafront Caracciolo with the Castel dell’Ovo and the myth of the mermaid Partenope at the hill of Posillipo with the poet Virgil. Lunch in panoramic restaurant on the seafront. In the afternoon, continue to the hill of Vomero, we will go up with the funicular and continue for the guided walk to the Napolitan liberty style, at the viewpoint of San Martino for a wonderful view of the city and opportunity to visit the museum of the Charterhouse with the collection of cribs of 1700. Free dinner. Return to the hotel.
Day 4 - Naples city of art
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a guided tour of Caravaggio’s Naples, the Pio Monte of the Misericordia and the Pharmacy of the Incurables between the medical tradition and the art of 1700. Free time to enjoy the artisan workshops and visit artists who are inspired by the statues of the crib in Caravaggio (meeting with the artist). Free lunch between the many restaurants of the center to taste the typical dishes. End of services.
