Piennolo tomatoes and Vesuvian Wines
Excursion to the discovery of the Vesuvian territories and to the typical productions; a journey in the present with a look to the past to the discovery of the ancient city of Pompeii and to the richness of the domus of the great merchants of wine, between private life and beautiful frescoes.
Departure by Gran Turismo bus to travel together to discover this tour among the "excellence" of Vesuvius.
Arrival in Pompeii, meeting with the guide who will accompany us to discover the life of the ancient Romans between luxury, taste and everyday life. Via dell'Abbondanza, the decumanus, on which we will find beautiful "domus" with extraordinary frescoes, we will also visit the house of the Faun, the house of the Vettii, the house of the golden cupids, the baths, the ancient shops the "termopolia", where we will discover the ancient food, the amphitheater and the gym where there is a small exhibition with examples of charred food and crockery and antique jewelry.
We will then visit a company producing cherry tomatoes of the "piennolo" at the foot of the volcano immersed in the Vesuvius National Park, we will meet the producers who will offer us a tasting of the products of their land, rich in volcanic flavors.
We will continue to discover the "rows" of good wine, we will be hosted at a winery for a wine tasting and a "Vesuvian" snack with typical products. Return.
