Day 1 - Caserta
Meeting with the guide and visit to the majestic Reggia Vanvitelliana and its enchanting park. At the end, continue to visit the monumental complex of the Belvedere di San Leucio, where Ferdinand of Bourbon created the Royal Manufacture of the Silks. Lunch during the excursion. Transfer to Casertavecchia, to visit this magnificent medieval village. Continue to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - Naples
Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with the guide and panoramic tour of the city. Stops at the points of major historical, artistic and landscape interest.  Piazza del Plebiscito, closed by the facade of the Royal Palace. Teatro San Carlo, one of the most famous and prestigious in the world, the Maschio Angioino, an imposing fortress built by Carlo D'Angiò. Lunch in course of excursion. In the afternoon, visit to the historic center: "la Spaccanapoli" with the church of Santa Chiara and its majolica cloister, the Church of Gesù Nuovo, The Cathedral of San Gennaro where the remains of the saint are preserved and finally the artisan workshops of Neapolitan cribs famous all over the world. Continue by bus to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Pompeii and Sorrento
Breakfast at the Hotel and departure for Pompeii. Buried under a blanket of ashes and lapilli during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79. The visit to the excavations, started at the behest of Charles III of Bourbon, will allow us to take a real dip in the past, a journey through time. Paintings, mosaics, new domus, workshops and daily life of one of the most important cities of Campania Felix. Typical lunch in a panoramic restaurant on Vesuvius. Continue to Sorrento, located on a rocky spur that offers tourists a charming "balcony" from which to observe the entire Gulf of Naples, walk through the characteristic alleys and craft shops to breathe the beautiful atmosphere of this unique place. Continue to Hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - Melfi and Venosa
Breakfast at the hotel, release of the rooms and departure for Melfi. Visit to the Castle of Frederick II, one of the most important medieval castles in Southern Italy, the Cathedral with its imposing Baroque facade and its Norman Bell Tower. Lunch during the excursion. Continue to Venosa, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy located in the Vulture area. Visit to the old town and the archaeological park. Continue to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Matera
Breakfast at the hotel and day dedicated to the visit of Matera. Guided tour on foot within the area of the Sassi of Matera. It will be possible to admire and visit the Casa Grotta furnished in typical style with antique furniture and tools to get a precise idea of how rural life was organized in the houses of the Sassi, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, beautiful nineteenth-century square from where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Civita and Sasso Barisano. We will descend into Sasso Caveoso, the most evocative and ancient part of the Sassi remained authentic over time, along a path that winds through terraces, squares, rock churches, typical houses and alleys. Typical lunch. Free afternoon to explore the city independently. Continuation to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Altamura and Laterza
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Altamura the ancient medieval town built on the plateau of the Murge by Frederick II of Swabia. Guided tour of the historic center and the wonderful Cathedral, the only church of the empire built directly by its sovereign, Frederick. Continue to visit an ancient oven, the tradition of bread and tasting. Lunch in Laterza in a typical "Fornello" tasting of meat on the spectacular skewers and typical products with excellent wine. In the afternoon walk to the old town and its ravines. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - Castel del Monte, Trani and Apulian oil
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Castel del Monte, universally considered a brilliant example of medieval architecture. Guided tour. Follow on to Trani.  The city overlooks the Adriatic with the elegance of a clear stone amphitheater and with the wonderful jewel of the city’s harbor. The discovery of Trani starts from the enchanting Cathedral of San Nicola Pellegrino, a Romanesque treasure suspended over the sea. A few steps from the Cathedral, stands the Swabian Castle, imposing fort wanted by Frederick II, while behind the port wind the alleys of the Jewish quarter of Giudecca, between ancient synagogues and craft shops. During the excursion we will immerse ourselves in the world of extra virgin olive oil through a guided tour of an oil mill. We will know all the stages of oil production, the visit will end with a tasting of oils accompanied by typical Apulian products and typical lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon we continue to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - Bari and Return
Breakfast at the hotel, room release and departure to Bari. Beautiful city full of traditions and charm nestled on the Apulian coast. Visit to the ancient heart of the city, the Basilica of San Nicola, the historic districts, very picturesque and characteristic and the Swabian Norman Castle with its characteristic towers, legend has it that in one of these towers stayed San Francesco. Typical lunch in the restaurant and departure for the return.
