Paestum, Velia, walking track on Pollino and Agropoli
Day 1 - Paestum
Arrival in Paestum, meeting with the guide and visit of the most famous archaeological area of Magna Grecia and the Museum that houses cycles of Italic painting unique in the world. We will continue the day with a visit to a company producing buffalo mozzarella, light lunch with typical products of the company. Continue to the hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Palinuro/Velia Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Palinuro. Boat trip to discover caves, ravines and beaches. One of the most evocative marine landscapes of the Mediterranean coast. Lunch. In the afternoon we continue to Velia to visit the archaeological area where we will experience the emotion of walking in the footsteps of the great philosophers Parmenides and Zeno. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Padula and the Pollino Park
Breakfast at the hotel, room release and departures to Padula.
Visit to the Certosa di San Lorenzo, one of the largest monumental complexes in southern Italy and one of the largest in Europe. Typical lunch to enjoy the excellent local products accompanied by local wines. Continuing to the Pollino National Park, Viggianello is the village where we will stay overnight, time to visit the typical markets, accommodation in the rooms. Typical Lucan dinner with various tastings. Overnight.
Day 4 - Walking Track in the woods and Borgo di Laino
Breakfast at the hotel and morning dedicated to a walk in the heart of the Pollino Park. We will follow a path, once used by the shepherds for transhumance, which through a forest rich in vegetation leads to the huts of sighting of the local fauna from where you can also see the deer. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon dedicated to the visit of the Village of Laino, a cluster of narrow streets and dilapidated houses that cling around the central Church, on a rocky hill 270 meters above the sea. Reaching it means making sure the privilege to breathe good air and enjoy enchanting views. Return to the Hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 - Agropoli
Breakfast at the hotel and release of the rooms. Departure to Agropoli. Visit to this charming medieval village overlooking the sea. Departure for the return.
