Amalfi and Minori

The charm of the Amalfi Coast

Guided tour to discover Amalfi, one of the oldest maritime republics. We will start from its historic center, whose heart is the Duomo. Preceded by a wide staircase and consecrated to S. Andrea (IX century), has a spectacular facade, decorated in the tympanum with a mosaic rich in colors and the Cloister of Paradise Moorish style, dating back to the thirteenth century with 120 columns, a garden and various religious objects.  Continue to Minori, small town in the province of Salerno, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997 along with the other countries of the Amalfi Coast. The Basilica of Santa Trofimena, the main monument of the city, with its three naves keeps inside a precious seventeenth-century pulpit. We continue by visiting the Roman Villa, dating back to the first century A.D. which contains precious finds, mosaics and decorations in excellent condition.
