Description of the experience
Departure from Sorrento with private transfer by minivan equipped with all comforts. Arrival in Ercolano, meeting with the guide and entrance to the archaeological area with skip-the-line ticket. Buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, the city was accidentally brought to light. The method of burial of Herculaneum was different from that of Pompeii; in fact, it was invested with mudflows that buried it under a blanket of about 20 m of volcanic material. The preservation status of the finds also depends on this.
At the end of the visit, transfer to the historic winery on the slopes of Vesuvius. Guided tour of the cellars and vineyards to learn about the cultivation and production techniques.
