Description of the experience
Departure from Naples with private transfer by minivan equipped with all comforts.
Arrival in Pompeii, meeting with the guide and entrance to the archaeological area with skip-the-line ticket. Our guided tour will allow us to take a real plunge into the past, a journey through time and history through paintings, mosaics, new domus, workshops and the many tools and artifacts that tell the daily life of the citizens of the time. At the end of the visit, transfer to the historic winery on the slopes of Vesuvius. Guided tour of the cellars and vineyards to learn about the cultivation and production techniques. Followed by a tasting lunch with local products and pairing of local wines with various courses.
Continuation to Herculaneum entrance to the archaeological area with skip-the-line ticket. Guided tour. Buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, the city was accidentally brought to light. The method of burial of Herculaneum was different from that of Pompeii, in fact it was invested with mudflows that buried it under a blanket of about 20 m of volcanic material. On this depends also the excellent state of preservation of the findings. At the end of the experience return to Naples.
