Excursion to discover the production of coral, the artistic processing and the island of Procida with the tradition of fishing and lemons.
Meeting with the guide and visit to the Coral Museum located in the Umberto I Gallery in Naples, here you can observe the evolution of fashion over time. The company Ascione was born in 1855 and, in the field of jewelry and jewelry, is synonymous with taste and trend, we will know branches of different types of coral and ancient tools for fishing, we will admire a truly important collection of more than 300 objects in coral, cameos and lava stone. The exhibition focuses on the history of coral processing from 1800 until today.
The location of the museum, then, offers the opportunity to enter one of the apartments of the Gallery: its balconies overlook the side facade of the San Carlo theater giving a close overview of the architecture of the place.
On foot we move to the port where we will embark for Procida, the capital of culture 2022, upon arrival on the island we will taste the famous "language of ox" sweet specialty of the island, free time to walk in the heart of Marina Grande waiting for the arrival of fishermen with their boats full of fish. The fishermen will welcome us with the "seafood" and we will taste the fresh catch offered by them directly on the port.
In the afternoon we will visit the oldest part of the island "Terra Murata" panoramic tour by minitaxi and guided tour of the ancient village, the Avalos Palace and the Abbey of San Michele. The walk continues towards Marina Corricella, the characteristic fishing village in pastel colors. Boarding in the late afternoon and return to Naples.
